All funding sources require students to demonstrate financial need. Depending on the scholarship fund, factors such as academic achievement, field of study, school attending and Jewish and general community involvement will also be considered. When a student applies for aid, the CSLRS committee matches the student with the funding source or sources for which they qualify. All information provided to CSLRS is treated confidentially and is used to process applications, distribute grants and to collect on previous loans. Individuals are known by number, not name, to ensure confidentiality.
